One of the difficulties of drawing webcomics is that you can't go back and change things. There have been a bunch of things that I've done that I wish I'd done differently, mostly because they've caused problems for me since. The most recent time I've done something I regretted was last comic. Today's comic doesn't show it, but I had to consult with someone to figure out what I'm going to do in the next couple of pages.

These things do make me think I'm going to have to do things differently for future comics. Chronicle isn't my magnum opus or anything, so if I screw it up, I'm fine with just fudging it a little and moving on, but once I move past Chronicle, I may have to actually go through and make a full draft or something before I start, which would be problematic from a time perspective (I sort of wanted to go straight from one comic to the next) but would probably produce a better comic. I may also have to adjust my art style. The current one is both too sloppy and not intricate enough for my plans for future comics.

Not that any of that is immediately relevant. Chronicle isn't going to be finished for another couple of years, probably. It's just something that I find myself considering.

Anyway, on to the funnies: the joke was "Why didn't the skeleton cross the road? Because he didn't have any guts!"
