Okay, so clearly I was being overly optimistic. That said, I now have the pages sketched out to the end of this story, so as long as I can get them finished and out, I think I'll be able to post pages more promptly for a while.
That said, I realize things have been somewhat problematic as late. This year has seen me miss a bunch of pages and fall behind schedule, which I'm afraid, coupled with this story I decided to add, means I probably won't be able to finish the comic this year. I don't want to rush the ending, but I think the comic will be done in the first or second quarter of next year. But I can't help but acknowledge at this point that I'm no longer being able to keep up my regular schedule, so rather than keep up the fiction that I'm updating Monday through Saturday, I'm just going to be updating when I can. On some days, this will mean that I don't post a page. On others, I'm hoping I'll be able to post multiple pages. I may decide that a more regular schedule is feasible again at some point, but for now, I'm just going to post pages as they come.
Also, I'm going to stop doing joke explanations. It's getting hard to keep track of what jokes I have and haven't told, and sometimes coming up with a joke is the hardest part of a post, so for now, I'm just doing comics, okay? Okay. |
