As I upload this, I've been listening to a Youtube video of someone reading the first book of the Iliad in the original Greek. It's interesting to hear the poetic rhythm. And if you've ever wondered, apparently it takes about an hour to read the first book of the Iliad. So assuming that each book is about the same length, a recital of the Iliad in its entirety should take about 24 hours.
