Officially confirmed: the thing on the side is a Hilbert Curve. That Akhektuak doesn't understand is itself understandable. Infinity is a tricky business, and this world doesn't yet have widespread rigorous definitions of many mathematical ideas which we take for granted. In fact, it is somewhat miraculous that Tinare Kalmana has developed his ideas of infinity sufficiently to conceptualize the problem and provide some sort of proof.
