I recently looked at the timeline of things, and it looks like it'll be another three or four years before the story is done, but I'd say we're a good halfway there at least, though I don't have things planned enough to know just how many pages the rest of the comic will take, and sometimes things come in during my writing that extend how long everything takes (consider, for instance, that the four stories Akhektuak and company told on Sevna Ghalo comprise almost 80 pages of our current 685). That said, the end is in sight, for me if for no one else. And I hope it will be a satisfying ending. I've read a few comics now that have actually ended, and most of them end sort of abruptly and not satisfyingly, so I hope this will be an exception. The joke was "Why did the carpenter get her tool an appointment with a massage therapist? Because it was sore/saw!" It's not a very good joke, which is a result of me coming up with a possible explanation without fully creating the joke. As a reminder, if you have any jokes, please send them to me. I'm in desperate need of new material, and there's only so many times I'm willing to explain jokes that amount to a zombie saying something that rhymes with "brains." Also, if you're wondering about the pronoun in this joke, try writing a similar joke about a male carpenter without it turning inadvertently dirty. Go on. I'll wait. |
