Akhektuak did well not to resort to violence back there. You may have noticed that axtaxtrices tend to fill a subservient role, and for one to talk as rudely to Akhektuak as that one did would be tremendously out of line, not to mention his refusal to help. In short, this scene could very well have ended with that axtaxtrix's blood spattered all over the room they were in were it not for Akhektuak's considerable restraint.
